CAREER COUNSELING PROGRAMMES

"Pre Admission Counselling"-  To provide information about available courses and educational facilities in the district, employment opportunities in different course fields to students, a Pre Admission Counseling programme is conducted by Vocational Guidance Unit of the office every year from April to July. In the month of July Career talks abiut admission & course is given in the schools and colleges.

"CHOOOSE YOUR CAREER FORTNIGHT" - Vocational Guidance Unit of the office organises "Choose your career " fortnight wef. 16^th to 31^st August every year. The aim of this program is to assist students/ job-seekers in planning their future. Career talks were organised in schools and in office. Career talks in the office were given by experts on following topics :

1. Self employment  schemes

2. Sports as a career

3. Self Employment Schemes and Banking services

4.Careers in Computer Technology 

5. Interview technique

6. Self employment schemes of KVIC.

7. Small savings Agent as a career.

8. Agriculture as  self employment.

9. Career through Technical Education and training facilities  

A number of Latest books on different Careers and vocational guidance were displayed in Career Information Room of the office and taken part in Exhibitions organised by other agencies.
